The General Counsel Forum The General Counsel Forum is a community of nearly 700 general counsel (70%) and senior managing counsel (30%) representing more than 390 companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Ninety-two percent of our members are with major corporations.

We encourage our members toconsider our underwriters andsponsors for new client opportunities, and appreciate fully the quid pro quoinherent in our underwriters’ andsponsors’ participation in the Forum. Based on a survey of our members, 79% reported that when they need a law firm or legal service or product provider for new matter, they consider Forum under-writers and sponsors.

With respect to our members’ purchas-ing power for legal services and products, the total outside legal spend is a remark-able $1.842 billion.

Forum events take place from February through December. Each year we schedule more than 100 meetings and events, including break-fast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail events; two golf tournaments; two awards dinners; and several sporting events. Meetings and events are held in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, and provide local programming and networking.

Our annual Conference in 2015 will be at the La Cantera Hill Country Resort (Nov 19 & 20).

Our goal is to help improve the professional lives of our members through peer networking and knowledge exchange, and professional de-

velopment in best practices, ethics, governance and compliance. Similar organizations pro-vide networking too, but more often than not they focus on “practice of the law” knowledge exchange rather than sharing ideas and discoveries about leading and managing a legal team.

Information on how to reserve a sponsorship can be found on page 16. Sponsorships are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you need a law firm, or legal service or product provider, do you consider Forum Underwriters?

Forum After Hours One Sponsor per event ($650 + Expenses) Forum Chapters are planning to hold several evening cocktail parties for Forum members and prospective members in Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston. The cocktail parties will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and will be held in a prominent Forum member’s home. These events usually have 20-25 general and managing counsel attending. The sponsorship fee will underwrite the cocktail party, printing and other related expens-es. The Sponsor may have up to two (2) representatives attend, and an attendee list will be provided prior to the event.

Forum Women One Sponsor per event ($650 + Expenses) Forum Women events are designed to provide opportunities for women general counsel and managing counsel to network and discuss leadership issues and other topics of common interest. These are smaller meetings (15-25) held in a restaurant or the private home of a prominent general counsel. Often an outside speaker is enlisted to provide current research and information on issues of interest to women in-house leadership, or lead a discussion of interest to the group. In 2015, we are planning to continue this dialogue by scheduling events in selective chapter cities.

2015 Forum Member DirectoryThis sponsorship is being offered only to firmsand companies with a presence in the DFW area.

Place your firm or company name in front of 650 Forum GCs and senior managing counsel by sponsoring the Forum’s digital Member Directory. We will distribute the directory in (March) and update it in the fall (September). The directory will be distributed only to our members. The exclusive sponsor of the directory provides a one-page advertisement that will be on the inside cover (page 2) of this digital directory, and can include hyperlinks to a website or collat-eral materials for download by our members. The Forum will coordinate with the sponsor to have 4-6 DFW Chapter leaders par-ticipate in a photo shoot with a sponsor representative to produce the cover photo. The sponsor will be responsible for providing the photographer and the final photo, as well as the one-page advertisement.

Women’s Caucus Sponsor

Join 40-50 Forum GC and managing counsel members and prospective members for lunch, and more select group for an afternoon at La Cantera’s Castle Rock Health Club & Spa. The event begins with a two-hour luncheon with networking and a speaker. The afternoon is spent with a more select group of in-house counsel for an afternoon networking, intermingled with spa sessions. This is one of the premier networking events for women general counsel. The luncheon is open to Forum members and prospective members, and Forum Underwriter Board Directors. The afternoon spa sessions are open only to general and managing counsel, and Sponsor.

17th Annual Conference of General Counsel (Nov 20) Join the Forum at our new venue, La Cantera Hill Country Resort, for our 17th Annual Conference of General Counsel. Eschewing the Mount Rushmore of talking heads, the Conference of General Counsel is led by legal best practice thought leaders who make their presentations in stand-up fashion in a theater-in-the-round setting. Under professional stage lights and before an audience in a darkened ballroom, the morning and afternoon sessions follow a no-break format with only a brief introduction before each new session. This creates a momentum and an inti-macy between speakers and the audience that is unlike any legal conference. Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country just north of San Antonio, Texas, the resort provides breathtaking views of the Hill Country and downtown San Antonio from one of the highest points in the area. Ranked #2 on the “Top 30 Resorts in North America” and among the “Top 50 Golf Resorts in the U.S.” by Conde Nast Traveler, the $115-million hilltop retreat combines the best in golf with the best of luxury. The 2015 Conference theme has not yet been determined, but it will be equally substan-tive as in previous years:

• 2014 - General Counsel: Not JUST Lawyers Anymore • 2013 - The GC as the Corporate Conscience • 2012 - Building an Indispensable Legal Department • 2011 - Revitalizing The Legal Department • 2010 - Faster Better Cheaper: The Unrelenting Need to Create More with Less • 2009 - How to Learn from Billion Dollar Lessons • 2008 - 2020: A Legal Odyssey • 2007 - The Trusted Advisor • 2006 - Lessons in Leadership • 2005 - Getting Back to Business: 360º of Legal Strategy

We are offering sponsorships of every size and type to meet your marketing needs, begin-ning with our anchor sponsors (Platinum, Gold and Signature).
