KEY FINDINGS

PeopleAPAC office workers are most motivated to work to support their lifestyle and families.

More than 60 percent of APAC office workers live in major metropolitan cities.

With commute time topping the list of challenges of working in a major city, APAC office workers are most likely to leverage technology to work across their devices and be available 24x7.

MachinesTechnology enables workers to deliver efficiencies and improve productivity.

Office workers who rate their company as above-average business performers are more likely to say their organization is “extremely focused” on leveraging workplace technology compared to those who rate their company as below-average performers.

Despite overall concerns, APAC workers are willing to try cutting edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning to help with work-related mundane tasks.

ExperiencesAPAC office workers rate cutting-edge technology over all other workplace amenities like food and office design.

Collaborative technologies enable office workers be more innovative.

Apart from driving use of technology, young workers help increase focus on creative thinking and innovation, and drive open-minded and diverse work environments.
