DVMA DISPATCH

March 2019, Volume 41, Issue 3 Feed Bag Page 3

We are now officially taking pre-registrations for our 21st annual Show and Shine Car

Show on June 8, 2019 at Streets of Brentwood in Brentwood. This is a judged car show.

We hope all our club members will enter their cars, and to register you can go to

DVMA.org/2019_show_shine and click on Motosho. This site works great for register-

ing and paying for these car shows. A portion of the proceeds from this fundraiser will

go towards the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. We will also be collecting in-

date canned goods that will get you a free raffle ticket for each donated item. Partici-

pants may arrive at 7:00 am for cleaning and detailing your car but must be ready by

9:00 am for inspection and judging. Judging will be completed by 12:00 pm. We will be

using an abbreviated MCA judging sheet which will exclude the trunk and undercar-

riage. I am asking every DVMA member with a running car to come out for this event

and help us raise money for a worthy cause. I would also like to recognize Bill Brandt

Ford and Delta Bay Mustang for their help with t-shirts and trophies. Also, special

thanks to Red Robin restaurant for use of their parking lot. Should be a great place for a

post car show celebration! Hope to see everyone there for this great event

They’ve had over 35” of rain in Concord, North Caro-

seum is moving along and they are still shooting to

open on the 55th Anniversary of the Mustang on

April 17, 2019. You may notice what looks like a

swimming pool at the right of the picture. This is

where the Legacy Bricks will be laid, just outside the

entrance. They will be taking a photo for the Charter

Our own Ed Guldner is hoping to make the trip for
