RESEARCHTHESE ARE THE PICTURES I USED AS INSPIRATION INTO MY OWN PRINT ADVERT.

These are two different print adverts I found from National Geographic with completely different art styles.

The one furthest left is suited more for a magazine and the one closest is suited more for a documentary.

I had considered both types to gain a sense of what portrayed my documentary with the most validity.

SELECTIONI THEN TOOK A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT PHOTOS AND CHOSE THE ONE I THOUGHT WOULD WORK BEST.

1ST DRAFTAt first I went with the magazine styled picture as it portrayed the National geographic theme and is easy to identify for the audience.

FINAL DRAFTHowever, after much consideration I decided to go with a simplistic style for my advert as it suited the topic of my documentary. The bold and assertive style gives a military vibe which is what I wanted to capture.
