Announcing: Lynnwood Eagle Riders
Please welcome the new Lynnwood Eagle Riders, of FOE #2888 motorcycle club, :
“Where friends have fun and fun creates friendship.”
The Lynnwood Eagle Riders is a newly formed club at Aerie #2888. It is a really fun
and talented group of motorcycle riders who simply want to enjoy the riding experi-
ence with good friends in a structured environment.
The purpose is to support the mission and values of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and
its members through the Lynnwood Eagle Riders whereby club activities and motorcy-
cle rides are geared toward
supporting the Aerie, the Eagle
Riders and chosen charities
through fun, safe and orga-
nized events.
The club meets the first Sun-
day each month at Aerie
#2888. Lynnwood Eagle Rid-
ers is excited to be a part of
the FOE and proud to be of
service and support to our
friends and community.

ROYAL WHEELS TRAVEL CLUB. By GerryAnn LaPlante
It’s so sad that this is last publication from the Royal Wheels Travel Club for 2019. It
has been a fun year for us all. We have had lots of fun at all our campouts and have acquire
some new members like Michele and Will and Ellyn and Harvey. Hope that you have enjoyed
our Merry Little group? We promise that we are going to have a terrific year next year. And
hopefully, we will be adding to our numbers. I don’t know how our outing can get much better,
but with the imagination of our talented members/wagonmasters, it CAN get wilder and
better. So from all of us In the Travel Club, we would like to wish all our Brothers and Sisters in
the Aeries and Lodge a Blessed Christmas and Happy new Year.
At this time, we in our Club would like to welcome some guests that came to our
November meeting at the Elks Lodge. I apologize that I did not get their last name, but their
first names are Danna and Dan. Hope you like what you saw and consider joining our band of
Merry Makers.
Our October outing at the Cedars in Ferndale was outstanding. Our Fearless leaders
were the Todd’s, Hanson’s and Hamilton’s. What a bang-up job they did. The weather was
the usual. RAIN AND MORE RAIN. It is great that we have a beautiful hall that we were able to
hide out in. There was a baked potato night, a heavy appetizer night, and YES, the great Bird
made his appearance. When we were through with him, he was nothing but BONES on a
platter. YUM!!!There were lots of games played and a spooky movie watched. It was sad when
we all had to pack up and leave for home knowing that this was the last outing for 2019. But
April will be here really soon. Great job WAGONMASTERS!
Our 2020 camping schedule is complete. You can make your reservations for Glen
Ayer NOW, whether it be a RV spot or Motel room. Add to that list, Grandy Creek. Spaces
available are 26-27-28-29-34-35-36-37-40-41-42-43-49-50. All other reservations to the other
parks can be made after the first of the year, 2020. Many, many thanks to all the Wagonmas-
ters that we had for 2019. We still have a few campouts without wagonmasters: May*Swiss
Park, and September*Whispering Pines.
Do we have some Christmas month Babies? Art A, Helen G, Dawn S, Janet A, Lee H,
Joanne R, Scott S and Will C. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EACH OF YOU!!!
Our Special Rays of Sunshine are heading out to our friend, Art. We are praying for
you. Sunshine Wishes were sent to Stan and Sharon S. You all sure are looking GOOD. Should
anyone know of any of our members being ill, please contact our “Sunshine Lady”, Topsy.
Many thanks to the crew at the Lynnwood Elks Lodge. You did a fantastic dinner
service before our November meeting. You all rock.REMINDERS: 1. Our next meeting will be
on March 12, 2020. Our Club does not meet during the months of Dec, Jan or Feb. 2. Our
Annual Christmas Dinner/Party will be on Sunday, December 15 starting at 3pm. There will
be a terrific Raffle of two huge baskets. And last but not least, have a Blessed Christmas and a
Wonderful New Year.
Have a marvelous month and remember to support your fraternal order, the Eagles
or the Elks.
Stay safe on the Highways and Byways of RVing.
Good of the Order

From the Trustees
Bylaws
Have you read these lately? Found something that wasn't clear, you didn't
understand or have suggestions to improve them in some way? We will
begin our annual review soon and would love some input from members
and also members who would like to work on them with us. More members,
more ideas, better Bylaws. Contact Vicki Eames at 206 354 5048 or email
[email protected]. Volunteering is the lifeblood of Lynnwood Eagles!
We have applied for permission to have the Beer Garden from the Liquor
Board, The city signed off the building permit that was required by the fire
department so, just need to hear from them to allow it's use.
Don't forget the Children's Christmas Party on the 21st and the New Years
party on the 31st.
Hot butter rum party will be on December 11th from 5 to 7.
Donating
Have you noticed the box in the hallway of the club when you come in?
This is for donations to the Lynnwood Food Bank. The holiday season is usually one of
the most critical donation periods for the banks. Demand is high as people try to pro-
vide for themselves and their families. How about checking your cupboards or buying a
little extra the next time you are at the store? Place items you wish to donate in the box the
next time you are at the club. The Food Bank will appreciate your donations, your heart will
feel good and people get some help. How is that for a win/win!
A LETTER FROM THE DESK OF AUXIL-
IARY MADAM PRESIDENT, Vi Flieschhacker
The Auxiliary will accept nominations for Vice President at the December 4th meet-
ing. If you are interested, please attend the meeting which starts at 7 p.m. or submit a
note indicating you are interested in serving in that station. For additional information,
please send an email to [email protected].
Plan to stop by the Club on Sunday, December 1st starting at 12 noon to participate in
the Auxiliary's paddlewheel game.
All proceeds go to our charity fund. We thank you in advance for your support.
