HomesicknessTo do:– Get immersed into the new culture and the

environment– Stay in touch with family and friends– Be active in meeting new people

HealthCheck list:– Have your travel/medical insurance– Bring your medication and inform your EP manager of

your condition– Be aware of allergy– Take recommended vaccination– Bring clothes suitable for the weather– Drinking water and food– Contact your EP Manager/Host LC ASAP if any serious

incident occurs

Safety & Security• Check list:– Keep your valuable items safe– Have a travel insurance and contact details– Research and plan for your travel

Reception and Transportation• Check list:– Inform host LC your arrival details and have the

confirmation– Leave your arrival details at home/ to home LC– Confirm your accommodation address with host LC –

make sure you have clear expectation with them– Have contact details of home and host LC with you– Inform AIESEC member(s) (either home or host LC)

where you are travelling– Do not travel with strangers

Project and Workplace• Expectation check list:– What are your daily activities?– How long is your work hour? How many days a

week?– Who will you work with?– What is the requirement of the work?

Project and Workplace• Create a project:– What issue is the local facing?– What do they need to overcome this issue?– What can you do to help them overcome this

issue?– Communicate with the host LC manager the

expectation of the new project– Communicate with home LC regarding the

problems
