than there are people living in California and Texas combined - and those are the two most populous states in the country.

6. And to bring that into perspective, those hens produce close to 15 billion eggs a year. That’s enough eggs to feed everyone in the WORLD an egg a day for two days, or enough eggs to feed everyone in America an egg a day for 47 days.

7. To bring that to an even larger scale, that's enough eggs to circle the PLANET 21 times. 8. Wright County has the highest percentage of grade-A topsoil in the nation. 9. Cornell College is the only school in the nation to have its entire campus listed on the National Register

38.9 percent rural. 14. One Iowa family farm grows enough food and fiber to feed 279 people. With around 75,000 family

farms in Iowa, that equals about 21 million people fed. That means we could feed everyone in Beijing, the seventh largest city on Earth, for one day.

Just Ask Sue ...

QUESTION: 6 kids decided to ride their bikes down the bike trail that is 5 miles long. Let’s call them Colton, Carter, Isaac, Elijah, Bailey and Annabelle. Colton took off first and rode to the end of the trail. Carter, Isaac and Bailey went half as far as Colton. Annabelle took off and went half as far as Carter, Isaac and Bailey. Elijah was left behind and was unhappy. Isaac told him to just go. Elijah wouldn’t because he didn’t have anyone to ride with. Bailey, who is very kind rode back to get Elijah, stopped to get Annabelle and together they rode their bikes past Isaac and Carter and went 3/4ths as far as Colton. Not to be undone, Carter and Isaac rode their bikes past Bailey, Annabelle, and Elijah and joined Colton at the end of the trail. Bailey, Annabelle, and Elijah decided to go back to the beginning of the trail. The rest of the boys joined them and they began to argue who drove the most miles.

ANSWER: Who cares? I hate word problems. Maybe someone else can answer this and settle the argu-ment.
