The Connector - A1With fixed insert pipe for drinking water, water, gas,heating and district heatingOur all-round connector is always the best choice for water, gas, heating and district heating lines. The connectors are made of lead-free brass (according to drinking water regulations) and thus are ideal for the use in drinking water systems.

Sealing

MaterialOur connectors are made of thermally unstressed brass and Ecobrass. Ecobrass is a lead-free alloy, qualified for the use in drinking water installations according to the European Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC. The reliable brass is characterized by dezincification resistance and high durability.

Please note: Our connectors for other applications than drinking water are made of a different alloy (CW602).

The connector consists of only three components, thus it enables a quick and simple installation without any special tool. The fixed insert pipe ensures an optimal form of the PE pipe and stabilizes the pipe inwards, so the insert pipe holds up internal pressure. Even by negative pressure, PE pipes do not deform with our connectors.

No long-term damages due to leaking or porous seals, because the sealing function is given by the in-sert pipe. Thus, no additional seals are needed. The tested and refined clamping mechanism with fixed insert pipe guarantees a long term tight connection. The sealing function does not depend on the qua-lity of the pipe surface, so damages on the pipe surface have no influence on tightness.

Our flange connectors are optimal for higher dimensions. They have an additional seal and a loose insert pipe. With our flange connectors for the application in water systems you are always on the safe side.

Sealing

The connector consists of various components, which can be assembled quick and simple without any special tool. The fixed insert pipe ensures an optimal form of the PE Pipe and stabilizes the pipe inwards, so the insert pipe holds up internal pressure. The additional seals ensure total security.

Our connectors are made of thermally unstressed brass and Ecobrass. Ecobrass is a lead-free alloy, qua-lified for the use in drinking water areas according to the European Drinking Water Directive 98/83 EC. The reliable brass is characterized by dezincification resistance and high durability.

Depending on the dimension, the sealing function is guaranteed by a profile seal ring or an o-ring seal.Thus the connector owns a separate sealing and a separate clamping function. These functions are not dpendent on each other, which makes the flange connectors safe.

Installation Instructions for Compression Fittings

Step 1Cut the PE pipe at right angle.

Step 2Push nut and clamping ring onto the pipe.

Step 3Push the pipe onto the cylindrical socket up to the end.

Step 4Tighten the nut firmly.

Note:

• When applied in hot water installations please warm up the connection up to 60° - 80° after assembly and retighten the nut,

• Pre-heated pipes enable an easier installation,• For thread connections to metal parts the permitted operation pressure is 4 bar in principle,• Corrosion protection acc. to DIN 50929 is necessary on site in the field of buried pipelining.

Flange connector (90 mm and 110 mm)

Installation Instructions for Flange Connectors

Step 1Cut the pipe at a right angle.

Step 2Chamfer the pipe (the outer pipe surface has to be clean and free of grooves).

Step 3Push flange and clamping ring onto the pipe (same sequence as shown in the picture).

Step 4Knock in insert pipe completely.

Step 5Push the pipe into the fitting body up to the end.

Step 6Connect flange and body positively while tightening the screws equally so that tilting is avoided.

Flange connector (63 mm and 75 mm)

Step 1Cut the pipe at a right angle (the outer pipe surface has to be clean and free of grooves).

Step 2Push the parts onto the pipe in the same sequence as shown in the picture.

Step 3Knock in the insert pipe completely.

Step 4Push the pipe into the body up to the end.

Step 5Take the parts to the body

Step 6Mount the flange firmly while tigh-tening the screws so that tilting is avoided
