Beingwell hydratedplays a major role in immune health.Another tip lots of peoplefind helpful isavoiding common food allergens. Thesewould mainly include gluten containinggrains, like wheat and barley and dairy.Even though you don’t usually react tothese foods in anymajorway, itmay bea hidden allergy that might have goneundetected.

Just in time for those last minute Pesach preparations, or even for a snack to prepare on Chol Hamoed!

Ingredients:

9 egg whites

2 c sugar

8 c of ground filbert or almonds

Directions:

Beat eggs with sugar until stiff. Fold in nuts. Place one spoonful of mixture on cookie sheet. Repeat until you finish the batter. Bake macaroons for approximately 20 minutes on 350 degrees. Centers should be soft.

Chewy Macaroons


12 eggs separated

1 cup sugar

¼cup oil

3 flat tsp. coffee (diluted in a drop of hot water)

Beat egg whites until partly stiff.

Add ½ of sugar and beat until stiff.

In a separate bowl, beat yolks with rest of sugar and oil.

Add coffee and beat until fluffy.

Gently fold egg whites into yolks. Pour into 10x16 inch baking pan and freeze.

Coffee Ice Cream

The biggest ice cream sundae in history was made in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 1988, and weighed in at over 24 tons. You can’t order that in an ice cream parlor!

With all the letters we received there was one from Baltimore. The stains on the paper made it apparent that it was

written with lots of tears. Upon reading the letter though we realized it was tears of joy!!
