Alegro-me que o sentido de pertença à comunidade paroquial tenha amadurecido cada vez mais, consolidando-se ao longo dos anos. A fé deve ser vivida juntos, e a paróquia é um lugar onde aprendemos a viver a própria fé no «nós» da Igreja. E desejo encorajar-vos a fim de que cresça também a co-responsabilidade pastoral, numa perspectiva de comunhão autêntica entre todas as realidades presentes, que são chamadas a caminhar juntas, a viver a complementaridade na diversidade, a testemunhar o «nós» da Igreja, da família de Deus. Amadas famílias, sois vós sobretudo o ambiente de vida em que se dão os primeiros passos da fé; sede comunidades onde se aprenda a conhecer e amar cada vez mais o Senhor, comunidades em que haja um enriquecimento recíproco para viver uma fé verdadeiramente adulta. Finalmente, gostaria de recordar a todos vós a importância e a centralidade da Eucaristia na vida pessoal e comunitária. I rejoice that the sense of belong-ing to the parish community has continued to develop and been consolidated down the years. Faith must be lived together and the parish is a place in which we learn to live our own faith in the “we” of the Church. And I would like to en-courage you to promote pastoral co-responsibility too, in a perspec-tive of authentic communion among all the realities present, which are called to walk together, to live complementarity in diver-sity, to witness to the “we” of the Church, of God’s family. You in particular, dear families, are the environment in which the first steps of faith are taken; may you be communities in which one learns to know and love the Lord more and more, communities in which each enriches the other in order to live a truly adult faith. Lastly, I would like to remind all of you of the impor-tance and centrality of the Eucha-rist in personal and community life.
