Bishop To Participate In Good Friday Prayer

Vigil 3 April! Experience Good Friday As Never

Before At Local Abortion Site!

Christians of all denominations are invited to join in solemn prayer on Good Friday (3 April ) from 8 AM to noon at the abortion clinic in West Ashley. Charleston Women’s Medical Center is located at 1312 Ashley River Rd. (corner of Highway 61 with Fuseler Road) and approximately 2,000 abortions up to 16 weeks are performed here each year. Local area pastors will lead in scripture and prayer throughout the morning as we meditate on our Lord’s suffering and our redemption won by Christ. On this solemn day, we refrain from using signs that would connote a picket or protest to the public. Instead, we will keep the focus on Christ by carrying a life-sized cross. Prayers will be offered for all the victims of abortion and their families as well as for those perpetuating this injustice. We ask Christians now to set aside time on Good Friday -- an hour or two or the whole time -- to commemorate Christ’s redeeming act and to pray for all the children killed daily by abortion. Each pastor has a special message for us, and Bishop Guglielmone will be participating between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Contact Cheryle at 696-0604 for further information.
