Themeaningful invocationwas ledbyourbelovedRAPP Maya Peralta as they join the club in our family day followed by theNational Anthemand the RotaryHymn
Entertainment was then led by Dir. Gigi Marananwhoaskedandintroducedour“originalserenadeking”,PPLitoPangilinanasherendered2beautifulsongs.Heinvited the very lovely couple Rtn Herb and RAPP Cynch todanceonthefloor.
Introduction of VR&G was done by our veryenergeticTreas.MarilynBarredoasshecontinuedtheEntertainmentportion.
Members Time then followed As many of members wantedtoannounceduringthemeeting,itwasthetalkoftheroomaswemadeanew“record”onthelongestmembership time in history. We really love makinghistory,aren’twe?
An“enjoyable”Members’timecameasfollows:
• Dir Atom asked everyone to invite prospectivemembersandannouncedactivitiesregardingtheMembershipCommitteerecruitmentinitiative.
• Treas Marilyn reminded the members regarding their dues and assessments
• DSGC Gerard announced regarding the RCCSeminar to be held at BSU and its organizing committeemembers.
• Dir. Gigi on PR Committee updates and itscoffeebookprojectwhichmostofthemembers“voted”topayfortheirowncopy.
• PN Uwe then called our new PHF members whose pins and certificates that just cameand gave them their much awaited pins and certificates.

• IPP Flo then called on our beloved Pres Libby whom she gave a symbolic President’s Pin
Acontinuationof theEntertainmentwas theraffledrawledbyRAPres.MinaandRAPPYollyfacilitatedbyPPMike giving away lovely, “utilitarian” and practicalraffleitems.
Pres.Libbythencalledthe“last”batchofinductees:IPPFlo,Dir.Cora,Dir.Atomandyourstrulytobefinallyinducted as members of the board. Some jokinglysaid this year’s inductionwas the“longest”as it took3weekstofullyinducttheboard.Another“record”asthey say it
Pres.Libbythenencouragedeveryonetoparticipatein the upcoming activities of our club for the comingmonthsandthecontinuationofalltheprogramslined-upfortheimplementationoftheclub’s3-yearstrategicplan
Pres Libby then presented IPP Flo a Leadership Plaque (which she truly deserves) for her outstanding performance as our President last rotary year

The28 July 2012 FamilyDaywasoneof themosthappiest and fun-filled meeting the Rotary Club ofBaguio experienced.With the presence of the RotaryAnns;awellparticipatedMembers’Time;afunthrillingRaffle Draw and an unforgettable romantic dance...laughter filled the Powerhouse just before we wenoticed it was already time to adjourned. “Ay, taposna?”But itwasnotoverafterthat,thefuncontinuedwith ice cream treats for everyone (Thanks IPP Flo!)

I feel blessed to have such friends especially in Rotary, probably the reason why I came back hometo RC Baguio As a line in a children movie Cars 2says,“whoever finds a friend, finds a treasure.”InRCBaguioalone,Ifindmyselfpocketfuloftreasures!

03 August 2012 - Inspite of the perilous weather,Members from three Rotary Clubs from Baguio met tohead toMangaldan, Pangasinan to gatherdonatedbooksfromtheBooks of the World Project - Matching Grant #76247 between RC PortlandWestside and RCDagupan.ThesethreeclubsareRCBaguioNorthjoinedbyPres.RaymondRuaroandRtn.AriesDatuin,RCBaguioDowntownSessionjoinedbyPres.SonnyAgculicolandPP Sonny Estabillo and RC Baguio joined by Pres Libby Fernandez,Sec.BabyKaurandRtn.MarcelBadua.
At Mangaldan, RC Dagupan representatives Pres.Astig Pereras and PP Edwin Aguirre welcomed thedelegation and distributed the donated books amongthe clubs. Everyone took advantage with photooppurtunites
