Cres

Cres (405 km2) - almost equal in size to Krk (410 km2) – is hilly, steep and narrow. It extends 66 km and is between 2 and 12 km wide. It harbours a sweet water lake and is covered by dense oak forests.

A unique trip is to start from Istria, take a ferry to Cres, have lunch, cross by ferry to Krk, cross the bridge to the mainland and return around the bay to the origin.
