SUMMER BLOCKBUSTERS AT ALLELUIA!
We can all remember a summer blockbuster movie we’ve enjoyed. This July, our
four-week sermon series will use the name of four popular movies that will point us
to God’s Word and how we live out our Mission & Core Values at Alleluia!

is no exception. If you are going to miss worship for any reason during this season, please remember your

There are regular opportunities to volunteer with others from Alleluia! for a 3-hour shift at Loaves and Fishes in their food distribution. Alleluia! offers regular opportunities to serve during a 2½ hour shift at FMSC. Our 4th annual 5K Run With a Mission event raises awareness of, and funds for, Alleluia! Missions.

New Member Orientation When: Wednesday, July 26, 6:00-8:15pm

A light dinner will be served, and childcare will be provided with registration.

Vacation Bible School 2017! You made this wonderful week at VBS Maker Fun Factory possible!
SUMMER KidsConnect… We have just finished THE ISLAND. Next we are taking off for THE SWAMP! The children are encouraged to wear “play clothes” in the summer…in case we get wet, messy, and MOSTLY so we can RUN! Be sure to have your child pick up their SWAMP GAME BOARD and MORE game pieces.
CHECK IN will remain the same as during the school year!

A NEW Event for Women is Coming this Fall! (Daughters Ages 13 and Up are Invited, too!)
Who: Alleluia! and Community Women and Daughters (13 and up) What: Ladies Night: An Event Filled with Friendship, Fun, Food, and Mini-Parties!
* Delectable chocolate creations FREE with your entrance fee. * We’ll have a few select vendors new to Alleluia! there, too! When: November 10th, 6pm-9pm (SAVE THE DATE!) Where: Alleluia! Mini-Parties will be held throughout the church. Maps will be provided. Why: This is a women’s fellowship event as well as a fundraiser for the Women’s Retreat scheduled for
January 26-28, 2018!
We need YOU to help make this night happen! Even a small contribution now will help a lot!
Currently, we are looking for:
1. “Mini-Party Hosts”:
- Lead a Bible Study or guided meditation
- Lead a game of Bunco, Bingo, or some other game
- Teach a craft, how to cook something, do origami, etc.
- Share your expertise on something useful for women
- Home party coordinators are welcome to inquire!
ACT FAST, AS WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT ONE OF EACH TYPE OF “PARTY!”
2. Help from home:
- Put the word out on social media—Facebook, Twitter, etc!
- Track Mini-Party Guest Signups
- Fund a Mini-Party to help us maximize our profits!
We will also be looking for LOTS of help closer to the event — help making delicious chocolates, donating
ingredients for the chocolates, event set up and clean up, volunteers who are willing to work that night! If every-
one contributes in some way, this is sure to be an event for all to enjoy. It will also be instrumental in determining
how much (if any) our retreat fees will have to increase this year. Please consider doing your part! THANK YOU!

pieces? How can God help you overcome your fear of the future with peace in the present?
Kathi Lipp, our 2018 speaker, will help us learn solutions to the above problems, big and small. New this year:
she will begin her time with us by doing a COMEDY SHOW on Friday night! Kathi was recommended to us by
Sue Heimer, last year’s much-loved speaker. She will be traveling from sunny California to join us in icy cold
Illinois, January 26th-28th, 2018 (we are in need of airline miles, preferably Southwest, if you have some that you
