Northshore Baptist Association

VOL. 18 APRIL-MAY 2016 NO. 2

I Timothy 2:1-4 is the prayer watchword for everything we do in the Northshore Baptist Association.

From the Heart of Your DOMM Dear Friends,

The flood came in March. The

water rose and you responded.

Removing water damaged materials

from houses, distributing supplies to

people in need, feeding those who went

a period of time without hot meals, praying for and

encouraging those directly affected by the rising water—

these are but a few of the ways the churches of the

Northshore Baptist Association responded. And you

continue to do so.

In the “darkness” of the flooding I thought of all of

you when I read this in the Good News Bible: “Give

yourself to the LORD; trust in him, and he will help you; he will make your righteousness shine like the

noonday sun” (Psalm 37:5,6). You did and He has and

continues so to do.

There are a number of upcoming items of significance

for our churches including the Sheepdog Safety Training,

Vacation Bible School clinics, and the WMU sponsored

Pastor/Spouse Appreciation Banquet, among other things.

Details for these and more can be found in this

newsletter.

I genuinely believe we are “better together.” Please

keep Prayer First (1 Timothy 2:1-4) and remember this:

The magnitude of our mission demands healthy

cooperation within our family of churches. It is an honor

to serve with you all to that end.
