When discussing esthetics in dentistry, it is imperative to look beyond a nice color match or shape of the teeth.

Understanding of dental and skeletal relations, anteroposterior, vertical and transverse dimensions is mostimportant, as well as how the soft tissues of the face affect the patient’s facialbalance.

A comprehensive approach to facial-dental esthetics is needed to achieve themost beautiful results.

Born in Mexico City, Dr. David Dana received his Bachelors of Sciencedegree in 1977. He obtained his DDS at the Universidad Tecnologica de

Mexico, in Mexico City, in 1981 and in 1983 he graduated from theProsthodontics program at Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr. Danamoved to Southern California and established his practice in South El Monte,and later in Beverly Hills.

In pursuing his career goals, Dr. Dana has continued with his education inperiodontics implantology, restorative dentisty and dental aesthetics, TMJ andorthodontics. He joined the San Gabriel Valley Periodontal Surgery Studyclub in 1990, where he continues his studies today. Dr. Dana joinedProgressive Orthodontic Seminars in 1990, and became an instructor in 1993.He lectures nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related toOrthodontics, TMJ and Facial aesthetics, and also extensively in the uses ofBotulin toxin (BOTOX) in dentistry and lip augmentation with dermal fillers.He has trained hundreds of doctors in Europe and the USA.

Dr. Dana is also the Curriculum Coordinator for Progressive Dentistry. Hisprivate practice focuses on Facial Aesthetics, Prosthodontics, Orthodonticsand TMJ treatment.

“The Future of the American Jewish Community:Can Alpha Omega and other Jewish Organizations Survive?”

Rabbi Stewart Vogel has been the spiritual leader of Temple Aliyah since 1993. During that time he hashelped establish Temple Aliyah as a dynamic and vibrant synagogue whose membership is involved in

many aspects of the Jewish community. He is recognized as an innovator in synagogue programming andfor his work in building bridges within the Jewish and interfaith communities. Rabbi Vogel has served asthe President of the Southern California Board of Rabbis and is the co-author of the national bestseller

“The Ten Commandments: The Significance of God’s Laws in Everyday Life.” In 2000 Rabbi Vogel washonored as the “Rabbi of the Year” by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
