The agricultural and industrial economy of the territory of

Trapani, is mainly based on the viticultural and enological

compartments, besides olive oil production.

The province of Trapani, after all, is unanimously recognized as one of the best Italian wine provinces.

The economy of our territory is known through the Marsala wine, it has spread the image of Trapani

province in the world.

Wine technological industry is the main industry of alimentary compartment: today, over fifty thousand hectares of highly selected

vineyard allow the production of numerous high quality wines especially the three D.O.C. sicilian wines: the Bianco D’Alcamo, that in short time has been able to conquer the markets all over the world; the

Marsala; the Passito of Pantelleria.
