• Ionizer modules can be rack or flange mounted to fresh air inlet duct or recirculation plenum or duct
• Power consumption only 50 watts per module
• Oxygen present in air flow over tubes becomes bipolar - ionized and reactive
• Ionized air flows via HVAC air distribution ducts to building or enclosure
• No ozone produced.

• Total treated volume includes the SPB Basement at 26,800 CFM (45,543 M3/Hr.) and Cake Storage Building at 16,700 CFM (28,373 M3/Hr.)
• MWRD ionization system coming on line September 2003.

CONCLUSIONS
• Bipolar air ionization provides a simple and cost effective odor control solution
• Added value includes corrosion control, health and safety advantages
• Recommendation: Do not allow simplicity of concept to be misinterpreted as lack of need for thoughtful system design and engineering.
• Total costs - capital plus O&M are less than “end of pipe” odor control system alternatives.
