    Before We Get Started

If a recent DeSales University study is any indication, 95 percent of theworld population procrastinates.

      95%!

This number has been corroborated by the University of Calgary, Psychologi-cal Bulletin, and many other respectable sources.

We all procrastinate. (Even if we pretend like we don’t.)

      Why does this matter?

If you’re completely happy with your life, it doesn’t. Congratulations. Keepdoing what you’re doing. If, however, you look back on your hopes and dreamsof 5 years ago and find that you haven’t achieved them, perhaps it’s time totry something different.

At Simpleology, one of our aims is to recapture the time procrastinationrobs from you. (It can do much more, but let’s tackle procrastination first, shall we?)

With over 1,000,000 users and growing, we seem to be on to something. We havebeen adopted by Fortune 500 companies ... employees of the U.S. government ... momand pop entrepreneurs … work at home moms … you name it. Our users hail fromvirtually every walk of life in every Internet-connected country on the plan-et.

How did this come about? In 2004 I realized that on some days I was produc-tive. Crazy productive even. But on other days I was absolutely worthless.

I wondered ... what was the difference? Could I reverse-engineer the cause?

The end result was the web app called Simpleology. It’s designed to repro-

duce that crazy-productive day for you - each and every day you use it.

Before you can do that, you’ll need to learn to look at the world a littledifferently from most. (Is that any surprise?)

This short cartoon book describes the four most common causes of procras-tination and how to use Simpleology to disrupt them. We’ll then replace thesehabit patterns with healthy ones that have been proven time and again tohelp you do what you’re meant to do: the work you know is burning a hole inyour heart, were someone only to give you permission.

      Permission granted …
