Trier has a rich Roman heritage, which you can experience wherever you are in the city. Porta Nigra and the

Roman Imperial Throne Room are two highlights, while an ancient amphitheatre can be found just outside the city itself.

Every visitor to Cochem should visit the historic Reichsburg Castle which offers

both fantastic views and fascinating history, while the Cochem chairlift

Home to a wealth of Bordeaux vintages, Pauillac is a must for wine-lovers, rich in both vineyards and wine estates,

while the town itself boasts numerous historical buildings including the Church

of St Martin and a charming 19th century central boulevard.

Blaye’s most notable attraction is its imposing 17th century citadel, which is built into the rock beside the river and houses a gothic chateau which
