Asia remains at the centre of global demand for condensates. Condensate production will be growing rapidly up to 2020 because of higher supplies from Iran and Australia. Iran’s condensate production and consumption are expected to change dramatically in a way which will impact the global condensate flows as well as naphtha balances.
Naphtha demand in the Middle East is expected to increase, contributing to around 20% of total oil demand growth in the region. New splitters in Iran, will likely make the Middle East a net gasoline exporter from 2017. Incremental naphtha feedstock requirements from new petrochemical plants are expected to outpace additional refinery supplies and result in low net naphtha exports from the Middle East through 2020, putting pressure on Asian naphtha markets due to its reliance on Middle East shipments.
The United States, being the newest entrant, may change the global game with more of its crude and condensate finding its way to Asian markets, either by condensate exports or condensate splitting.
Iran’s Condensate Outlook and the “Iran Roundtable” at the Forum
There are critical changes in the Iran condensate scene with the path-breaking Siraf Refinery Project, slated to be the world’s largest gas refinery complex and expected to change global condensate and naphtha balances. Iran will also become a huge supplier of naphtha which is of keen interest to Asian buyers.
A highlight of the Condensate & Naphtha Forum will be a Special Iranian Roundtable on the Siraf Refinery Park which will feature key data, project information and future plans from the leading Iranian condensate players. These important developments will not only affect the balances of naphtha and condensate being produced but will impact the Asia Pacific commercial landscape and balances of both products dramatically.
Attend the Condensate & Naphtha Forum to examine how the market movements and future direction of the industry will have an impact on your operations. Participate in thought provoking discussions and an analysis of emerging trends to formulate your strategies to deal with market transformations in the industry.
