We know many communities simply run a credit report and can approve an application immediately based upon that criteria alone. We take additional steps to confirm employment and salary, review the credit, obtain landlord references, investigate criminal history and check sex offenders list. We doubt that any of this will pose a problem for you, but it will give you peace of mind knowing that everyone in your community will have gone through the same investigative process. You can assist this effort by following these guidelines: Please complete the application in detail including phone numbers for your current and prior landlord and current and prior employer. Every applicant is asked to provide a photo ID. We need to know who you say you are! We must be able to verify your income. Please provide two copies of your most recent pay stubs. If you are starting a new job, we will need a copy of your offer letter. If you are self-employed, please provide a copy of last year’s tax return. As part of the process, someone from D & L Reporting will be contacting you to confirm certain information on your application. If you do not hear from them within 2 business days of applying for the apartment, please contact Bonnie at 443-862-3000.
