About MIT-ADT BioengineeringBioengineering is a multi-disciplinary field that has gained immense importance in the global

scenario. MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research (MITBIO) is a constituent unit of

MIT-ADT University that aims to prepare students for ambitious careers in bioengineering

arena by imparting education and hands-on training through project-based learning

approach. MIT School of Bio-Engineering Sciences & Research (MIT BIO) aims at introducing

students to the world of untapped opportunities in biology using engineering skills. The vision

of MITBIO is to empower India to become a leader in research & development as well as in

manufacturing products in the field of Bioengineering. It offers B.Tech., M.Tech., and PhD

programs in major domains such as Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics

and Biomaterials. The super-specialized courses include Pharmaceutical Engineering,

Synthetic Biology, Big Data Analytics, Biosensors and IoT, Biomedical Imaging,

Biomechanics, Nano-Biotechnology, Robotics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence,

environmental bioengineering, etc. The institute is equipped with state-of-art laboratories

providing ample opportunities for carrying out high-end research and innovative product

development.

About the ConferenceInternational Conference on Recent trends in Bioengineering (ICRTB) is a flagship event,

organized by MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research (MITBIO), a constituent

unit of MIT ADT University, Pune. The main objective of ICRTB is to bring together engineers

and medical experts, researchers and practising clinicians, individuals working in academia

and those working in the industry luminaries and government agencies to discuss the latest

research in bioengineering and allied fields. Bioengineering is a novel field which works

towards bridging the gap between engineering and biology. It is a multi-disciplinary field that

has gained immense importance in the global market. This is a unique conference that would

bring together engineers, clinicians, industry and academia to find solutions in healthcare.

The organizing committee of the conference is pleased to invite prospective authors to

submit their original manuscripts to icrtb@mitbio.edu.in for paper presentations. Selected

papers will be published in Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering (Springer). We also

encourage authors to submit abstract for e-poster presentation. Separate prizes will be

awarded for the posters as well.

Who Can Participate?The conference invites participation from students in their graduate/postgraduate courses,

research scholars, as well as faculties from various universities, industry personnel and

medical practitioners.
