This book- let gives basic information to parents on how to talk to their children about internet and social media safety. Some of the topics covered include safety with apps and websites that are often used by adults to target children, cyberbully- ing, and online privacy. “Green and Gold” Day, Fri., Oct. 7 As part of Homecoming Week, all students have been granted a “Green and Gold” Day on Friday, October 7. “Green and Gold” Day guidelines: Uniform pants, uniform skirts or uniform shorts must be worn; students may wear athletic shoes (no open shoes please); the top must be a St. Luke Catholic School or Church shirt (e.g. a class shirt, CYO T-shirt, field day T-shirt). For students new to the school, the top can be a white, green or gold T-shirt if they do not have a St. Luke shirt. Vision & Hearing Screenings Annual vision and hearing screenings will be conducted on Oct. 3 and 4. Students in the following grades will be screened: Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and all new students. Please make sure that children wear glasses/ contact lenses and use any assistive devices for hearing if needed.     Explore Your Interest in Science

    After school science sessions are scheduled to begin (six sessions) Wed., Oct. 19. There is a fee which should be mailed directly to Mad Science.
