TF Card Upgrade Method for PROBOX2 EX / EX+

1. Insert TF (microSD) card into card reader and connect to PC.

2. Run burnBootCard\BootcardMaker.exe to burn “u-boot.bin” to TF card.

3. Choose disk for your TF card, e.g. “SD-card2:E”. Check “To Partition and Format”.

Click “Open” to select the “u-boot.bin” file, then click “Make” to format the TF card

for the FAT or FAT32 file system.

4. Copy “aml_sdc_burn.ini” and IMG Firmware “*.img” to TF card root directory

Note: Make sure that the line of "package=aml_upgrade_package.img" of

“aml_sdc_burn.ini” must match the name of IMG Firmware as below:

5. Insert TF card into the TF card slot of PROBOX2 EX / EX+.

6. Prepare a thin metal stick / paper clip, then press and hold the restore button

(inside the AV port hole). Then press Power button at the same time. After 5-10

seconds it will enter the firmware upgrade screen as below:

7. Firmware upgrade process should take around 3-6 minutes, it will automatically to

reboot after finish. Please be patient and do not power off during upgrading.

8. For first time boot up it should take longer time (around 3-5 minutes) to PROBOX2

LAUNCHER. For second time and following reboots it would be faster!
