As forA the only real complaint I have is that "Panic in the Night" was predictable, Butde from making to clues too easy to figure out, the story was fairly well written.

Perhaps predictably, "Comic Oddities'* and "Bat-Adages" were my favorite articles. This isn't going to be easy, but; text: 3.5/4; art; 2/3; productions ?/3; totsboss ratings of ?»5 seem to be contageous today,,.)

FREE FALL 8

Mike "A Or perhaps that should be "Mike Main and Paul Chadwick", since Paul seeto pop up as much as you do, T guess Free Fall's big strength is its

personality, which makes it funto read. And Paul's graphics are excellent 33 usual.7 complaint is the printing. Some people have complimented you en good printing,

order people have complained. But !T,y copy was badly bled-tbrough to the po:ity, in places. FF ?"s front cover struck ma as being 3 little bit weak, but

the front cower this time I think is one of Paul's better efforts. Production; saying"continued next page" at the bottom of every page is unnecessary. I think most readersare smart enough to know that whan you finish one page, you qo onto the next.Art? 3.5/3.5; Copy; 3/3*5; production! '1.5/3; totals 8

. Fiutschler" Despite what Steve Kester says, I'm sure that your letter was indeedoffset. I*us seen direct image paper offset masters, but I've never

J them, I understand they*re great if you like to print fingerprints, though.Direct image offset is like ditto in that the original and the master are the samesheet, but a direct image offset master is printed in exactly the same manner as

her kind of offset master/plate. A ditto master, on the er hand, has itsL: right on the original, whereas for a direct image offset master, the ink stj

rt to make ma feel nostalgic. Anyone who keeps track of that sort of thing knows"m a senior in civil engineering now (and starting to think shout an 'AS.). I

pose right now you're getting tons of advice from everyone who's older than youare, but if you don't mind a little more, take ail the math you can before you qet •

ege! Math courses at big universities are no fun at all, and you're likely toa yourself a lot of frustration if you can at least get through first term calculus

before you start college. Well, good luck in getting into a good schoolI Q "WaitLege". Vas, I remember that phrase, jj Nope, I'm not a speedfreak.' The only drug I
