400AP Series Open Platform General DescriptionThe400APseriesIntelligentTerminusprovidesacompletewirelesscommunicationdevicewithintegratedARM9™processor,expandedmemoryandcellularcommunicationprotocolstofitanyapplication.TheAMTELARM9™processorhasalargesupportcommunityavailabletoreferencewhiledevelopingapplications.Additionally,Janushashardware/softwarepartnerswaitingtoassistusersinquicklygettingyourproducttomarket.TheTerminus400APseriesallowsuserstheflexibilitytochooseOSandifusersarelookingforembeddedLinuxOS,wecanshowthemhowtosetupLinuxtoolchaintoquicklycompileaLinuxKernelandFilesystemsousersareupandrunninginhours.

CellularcommunicationprotocolsfortheTerminus400AParepoweredbyTerminusPlug-Interminals.Plug-InTerminusoffereasyintegrationandinterchangeabilityofcommunicationprotocolsbetweenGSM/GPRS,CDMA,HSPA+,EV-DO,LTEandmorebycombiningfullM2Mfunctionalitywiththeflexibilityofastandard“Plug-In”DIPdesign.Theseterminalssharethesamemechanicalfootprintandofferuserstheabilitytoconfiguretheirapplicationsforcommunicationsviaanycellularprotocol.Byusingthesemodulestopowerthecellulartechnologyofthe400AP,userscaneasilychangecellulartechnologywithouthavingtochangeplatforms.The400APprovidesoneplatformthatsupportscurrentcellulartechnologywiththefutureinmind.
