On Friday, 12 th October 2018 we had a beauful ceremony in The Shed to say goodbye to these exceponal and talented individuals. I personally met most of you on my first day at Stellenbosch Waldorf School in January of 2013 and together with your guardi- an, Nasreen Rhoda, I became part of this class from Day One. It was a huge privilege to see you all grow up and mature right in front of my eyes. Words cannot describe how proud I feel about each and every one of you. Throughout the years we lost some students and gained new ones, all fabulous in their own way. We love and appreciate you all. Early in your Matric year, in fact, even in your Class 12 year, we all created a new group on WhatsApp and YOU called it Ronél’s Babies. And that is who you were from Class 8 and who you are now, you are my “babies” and I have never been prouder to send “my babies” into the wide world out there. You have been absolutely unique and awesome every step of the way, from when you were lile munchkins in Class 8 to these awesome upright young adults you are today. You have had your highs and lows and a lesser class would have given up, but not you, you all soldiered on and when life gave you lemons, you did not become bier, but you made lemonade. You are an example to us all and especially to your fellow students. A huge hug and thanks to the parents of these wonderful students. Thank you for trusng us with your precious young ones and believing in us. We are all reaping the rewards now. We, as the Stellenbosch Waldorf Community cannot wait to see how these wonderful youngsters will change the future. We know that they will all be amazing and inspiring! Please, if you can, join us at school on Friday 4 th January 2019 to celebrate the Matric results of these wonderful young people. Go out there Matrics of 2018 and be talented, gorgeous, beauful and unique! With much love and appreciaon from Ronél Swanepoel and the Matric teachers.
