• Write a poem or micro fiction about your cookie.• Include sensory details and metaphors/similes.• Be sure to tie a feeling, a memory, an idea, or an emotional

aftertaste to your description

• When you have completed your masterpiece, share with your group and make whatever revisions you feel you need to.

• Your final product will be collected and assessed (by me.)

• I will pass around student examples to help you if you get stuck.
