TECH INNOVATION IN LATIN AMERICAN

MUSIC FESTIVALS

Starting a music festival is not easy. It requires industry connections, knowledge of music and the most important thing: No fear of loosing money. The Latin American music festival scene is growing at a fast

pace. Colombia and Chile are leaders with Estéreo Picnic, Primavera Fauna, Sonar, and the recently cancelled Lollapalooza. How has tech helped market music festivals? What tools are being used by

some of the biggest music festivals in South America? Is there still an audience for more music festivals?

This panel will talk about Do´s and Don´ts when starting a festival and the role of tech and social media in the Latin American music

festival industry.
