Tech 20 Season 2 Ice Breaker I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Bobby, the 11 year old next door and asked him to come over. Bobby clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong? He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.' I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, 'An, ID ten T error? What's that? Five Rules for Effective Font Use
1. Use 1 or 2 fonts only (avoid gimmick fonts). Develop a predictable style
2. 12 or 14 point (14 is better for students)
3. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS UNLESS THE FONT IS DESIGNED THAT WAY
4. Embed fonts for moveable documents5. Rules for paper don’t always apply to
PowerPoint (or webpages)
