President’s Report Another year gone by and you’re all still able to shoot. Get back to it and be safe.

If you didn't go to the Jan 4, 2019 general meeting, TCGC is in the process of planning range improvements in regard to the NRA range

evaluation, as more information is obtained it will be put out to the members.

There is going to be a change that we all will get used to. Just because something has been happening doesn't make it right.

The range design firm that TCGC is considering hiring has a lot of experience with range design and they actually wrote the NRA Range Source book. They looked at TCGC's complete layout and have requested information back. TCGC has to tell them what ranges they want and how many shooting positions at each range, this includes future ranges. When this is determined, TCGC will put it out for a vote along with the design firm’s fee of an estimated $9,600. This is for an architectural design only of the TCGC shooting facility that will meet industry standards. A big Thank You to all the volunteers that help keep TCGC working!!! Vice-President’s Report The event coordinators and I have submitted grant requests to the NRA Foundation for:

• Women-on-Target • NRA Sportsfest • BSA Camp and Shoot • BSA Venture Crew • Youth Shooting Sports

The dates are on the 2019 calendar! Looking forward to a great 2019. My son has asked about hosting a traditional bow competition. So, I will be curious about who and how many club members are traditional archers. Let me know and I will work on better communication. Jamie Schmidt [email protected]

Safety Report Greetings Tri City Gun Club Members: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Safety Reminders: Guest Waivers: All Guests will be required to complete a new Guest Waiver for 2019 beginning 01/01/19. Legal Shooting Times: Members are reminded that legal shooting times on the Long, Short and Pistol Ranges are 15 minutes after sunrise and 15

minutes before sunset. These times will change daily. If you are not sure, you can do one of the following: watch the local news, ask Google, Alexa, Siri or check out the time chart in an Oklahoma Hunting Rules and Regulations pamphlet. New Members: We will be bringing on about 100 new members on January 5th. You can tell a new member as their badge will be printed in portrait. If you encounter a new member, introduce yourself to them and welcome them to our club. Remember you and I were also new members at one time. Opportunities to Serve: I want to thank each of you who have served this year in support of our many activities. Through your efforts we have taught many people the safe use of firearms and we had fun doing it. Looking forward to 2019. Thanks again. Be safe and shoot straight, make sure your bullets impact the Berm. Ken Anderson [email protected] 405-249-9804

Had great weather and plenty of help setting up and tearing down, with access to the tractor being a godsend due to muddy conditions around the conex.Sorry about the hiccup with the tablets and starting late, but it appears that my wifi-router isn't liking the TCGC area wide wi-fi so I have a workaround now.For those I won't be seeing at 3 Gun have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Years!
