and for the cherry, the cherry is

actually the liver of a person.

Never eat the ice cream sundaes

at Derby.

Friday we are going to have fun. We are

going to have so much fun and you are go-

ing to be there too. So you are going to

have so much fun. Have fun and a good

Fantasy Noontime Show

At yesterday’s noon time show, Shawn

and Kiri were dressed as dragons. The

first act, Charlotte Leasing, with her

breath, lit a table on fire! When Shawn

and Kiri walked back on stage, they were

singing: Real dragon’s la, la, la! Real

dragon’s la, la, la! Then the people in the

mini musical performed the Little Sea

Witch. That is a different version of the

little mermaid. Ariel is dressed as Ursu-

la, and Ursula is dressed as Ariel. Plus,

at the end, Ariel marries an eel. Next,

was a dance with Matthew Sicko and

Mille Mon. Matthew stood in the front.

All he got to do is stand. Mille pushed

Matthew off the stage! That is why Tha-

lia doesn’t like when people sit in the

front row. The last act was someone ly-

ing on the stage while someone stands

on them while someone else stands on

their head. The show was over. Thalia

came out to say the festivals. Stuff like:

going on an airplane to the moon. I

loved yesterday’s noon time show!

Age: 8 Did you hear? NO?!!?!? How could you

not hear about this brand new invention

made by the FABU, us! The magical, fab-

ulous, magnificent, amazing, papel! This

new and improved papel is a flat, color-

less piece of matter that has made life so

much more the same! You can draw any-

thing imaginable on this glorious sheet

of nothing! You can use it in prison, on

vacation, or even in the back of your

grandpappy’s new car! It’s 100% spill

attractive, meaning every spill of juice,

water, or guavas all go directly to the

papel, where it is immediately absorbed

for later use. Are you thirsty? Drink the

excess prune juice you spilled on your

papel an hour and 54 minutes ago!

Thirst relieved! Enjoy your new papel!

On Wednesday, at festival period, I was

playing on the playground. Just then I

spotted a patch of tiny white and blue

woodchips. I jumped of the swing and

ran over to the strange spot. Suddenly, a

narwhal jumped out! I also realized that

the blue woodchips were actually a tiny,

tiny, ocean! Then I ran away, scream-

ing, to the sprinkler. Inside the water

of the sprinkler, lay a solid rainbow! I

look up, as my eyes followed the col-

ors. On the top of the rainbow, I saw a

pink and white animal. It looked like a

horse. It’s body was white and it had a

pink tail and mane. Oh no! Back came

the narwhal! Plus, I saw a horn on the

horse’s head! A unicorn! Then, the

most strange thing happened! The

narwhal and the unicorn started talk-

ing! I was screaming so I didn’t hear

every word they said. But I know they

said something like: “Best friends for-

ever” or “West, we will head there.”

Oh well, I guess I’ll never know…

Pokemon Are Real By Olivia Pace

Age: 9

The flying black bear has been seen again.

It seems to only appear during the time of

Derby Summer Arts. When it was seen, it

was breathing underwater. With it there

were two unicorn dogs, a swan, a dol-

phin, a flying chipmunk, and a dog that

all can breathe underwater.

The dog’s name is Bobby. Bobby is the

adopted brother of Lusa, the flying black

bear, and Violet, the flying chipmunk.

Rose the swan is his adopted mother. Vi-

olet is the adopted sister to Lusa and

Bobby. Rose’s close adopted child is Vio-

let. Lusa is the family meat collector.

Jessie the dolphin, Dig and Woof the uni-

corn dogs are cousins to Lusa, Vio-

let ,and Bobby. The cousins live with

Rose, Bobby, Lusa, and Violet. Catch up

on the next update on flying black bears!

Flying Black Bears

Did you know that Pokémon are real? I

didn’t either. But, when Professor Larch

discovered the first electric mouse by

running tests, she found that electricity

was flowing through a piece of metal

making a spark that she was using for the

experiment. But then suddenly at the

back of the electric mouse’s tail a ball of

electricity was forming. Then after form-

ing, the electric ball was released. Profes-

sor Larch made it out of the burning lab,

but the electric mouse was nowhere to be

seen. After the fire was out, firefighters

searched for the mouse. The firefighters

found the mouse quickly. Alive and run-

ning around the lab happily. Then Profes-

sor Larch concluded her hypothesis.

“Pokémon are real”.

The Mystery of

Shawn and Kiri

Bunnies

Every day Kiri stops in all of Shawn’s classes.

Shawn always does something romantic with

her.

He also sometimes blows her a kiss.

He and Kiri also have been spotted having a

lunch only the two of them.

Also Kiri and Shawn have been seen on stage

saying “I love you.”

Also we see them doing romantic things all

the time.

We also see them hugging and holding hands

and putting arms around each other.

Have you seen any of these things?

What do you think is going on?

No one else can play with you, take care of

you or love you like your Nana. When we

had a Cape house, we stopped at My Nana

and Grampie’s house. Their house is on

one of The Cape’s best beaches. Whenever

I visit I will always remember to bring

back Cape Cod shells. Whenever I found

conch shells on the beach I called them

Nana Shells because they will always help

me remember the memories from each

time we visited. Nana even keeps some of

the cool shells for decorations in her sea

themed home! Every Christmas, after we

open presents at my house, we drive down

the Cape to celebrate Christmas with my

Mom’s side of the family. There, we eat

dinner, do a special craft, have dessert,

open presents and play Grab. That night,

the whole family sleeps over. In the morn-

ing, we have a well-prepared morning,

breakfast feast in honor of Christmas being

over and us being together as a family.

Sometimes over the summer, I sleep over.

I love sleeping over because I get alone

time with Nana and Grampie. Sometimes

we go out to dinner and others Nana cooks

me one of her famous, delicious recipes.

You can’t even believe how much fun I

have when I sleep over. Guess What? To-

day is my Nana’s Birthday! We are going to

Jakes Restaurant to celebrate. Most of my

family can attend! And it’s a SURPRISE!!

“Yesterday, in late morning around 11

o’clock, someone, who happened to not be

a human, was in the middle of the sky ly-

ing there. There was nothing under them.

This mysterious thing was lying there kind

of like it was dead, but it wasn’t. We decid-

ed to let it be and if it started to bother us

we would deal with it,” one of the news

men reported.

“But what if this thing just wanted to play

but someone thought it was trying to hurt

them?” a news woman asked.

“Then we will have to wait and see what’s

going to happen,” the news man replied.

“Join us next time for Fantasy Friday

news.”

Located behind a dumpster in Western

Chicago, doctors have found a germ that

takes over and occupies the right leg.

While this germ is inside your right leg it

will eat up all of your ligaments and bones

causing you many near death experiences

and deep terrorizing hallucinations of

multiple turtles swimming through the

mouth of a megalodon and coming out

the tail. People are devastated as they try

to find many prosthetic right legs for

these 2 and a half people that have been

infected with this germ. Please call and

Today’s word is…

+-+--- +++--+ +++++

This is Morse Code and it is extremely

hard.

Once upon a time, twenty minutes ago,

the kids were making art projects for the

Juniors…when the evil mastermind

Brendon came into the room and

planned his popsicle business. “I’m go-

ing to see what happens when you kill

two campers named Reid and Jona-

than,” he said maniacally. He calls a

staff meeting and announces, “We need

to get rid of all of the campers…

especially Jonathan and Reid.” DUH

DAH DUN.

Then Reid and Jonathan heard the conver-

sation and told all of the other campers to

make a rebellion. Ten seconds later,

“Brendon,” Reid and Jonathan said,

“We’ve come to take you and the other

staff down.” All of the other campers sur-

rounded him with popsicle sticks. Then

Dan comes in and says, “Do you want to

make a music video?” Brendon replies,

“Shut up, Dan!” and Dan begins to dance

out of the battle and Lee videotapes him.

Then Brendon says, “Now that that’s over,

let’s fight!” BOOM. BANG. BOOM. Kids

win because the counselors didn’t have

unicorns!
