Dear Prospective Family, I would like to invite you to consider Colorado Springs Christian Schools as a place to educate your child. Many good options exist when you look strictly at academics, but when you consider the whole child, and especially the heart, you will see that CSCS is head and shoulders above the rest. Why can I make such a bold statement? I have two incredibly powerful proofs. First, we can see the fruit of the Spirit demonstrated daily in the lives of the teachers who will influence your children for eternity. Read some of the comments our parents have made about our teachers:

• “We’ve been very satisfied with our son’s education and experience at CSCS. He loves his teachers. Thank you for caring about our son!”

• “CSCS takes wonderful care of my son, academically, spiritually, and by encouraging him with kindness and humor every day. CSCS is challenging my son with advanced classes and strict academic standards that will prepare him for a successful college experience.”

• “The teachers are engaged and invested in whether or not our children succeed. They truly go above and beyond what is required. The office staff and every person in the administration building have always been courteous, helpful, and kind. I feel welcomed in the school. I feel valued as a CSCS family.”

I could go on and on because I receive far more compliments on our teachers than I could ever commit to paper. Then there are the students! Our mission statement is lived out in the lives of the young people that are profoundly influenced by these teachers and the unique environment of CSCS. They are experiencing an EXCELLENT EDUCATION, from a CHRIST-CENTERED, BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE for LIFELONG SERVICE. As you visit, you will see students engaged in critical thinking, not just rote memory. Our test scores rank among the best in the city and state, and CSCS students receive scholarships at the universities of their choice. However, even more encouraging is the fact that they are taking with them a biblical worldview which provides a strong foundation that will shape their character. Their experiences with service and missions will propel them into opportunities for ministry in our community and around the world. CSCS graduates are the proof that a Christ-centered education makes an eternal difference! We are proud of our teachers and our students. We hope you will meet some of them as you tour our school. Welcome to CSCS! In His grip,

Roland F. DeRenzo, Ed.D. Superintendent of Schools
