ELECTRONIC CONTROLSEGS — Electronic Gear SelectorSpicer Clark-Hurth’s EGS is designed and engineered toprovide a smooth, efficient shifting operation and isavailable on most transmissions in either a twist grip ora console model. The EGS offers drive-line shift controland ease of use that have previously been available onlythrough more sophisticated electronic equipment. TheEGS’s predetermined gear selection allows the driver toconcentrate more fully on the vehicle task and, at thesame time, it protects the drive-train from operator erroror misuse.Features

Spicer Clark-Hurth torque converters teamed with theappropriate transmissions provide high operatingefficiency for virtually any application. Spicer Clark-Hurthoffers 36 torque converter wheel configurations with stalltorque ratios to match most engine requirements.

Although mounted remotely, Spicer Clark-Hurthtorque converters are an integral part of the transmission.

APC100 — Automatic Powershift ControlThe APC100 is available as an option with alltransmission models. It greatly improves vehicle andoperator performance by allowing the transmission toshift automatically at the predetermined programmedspeeds and load points needed for specific vehicle dutycycle operations. This frees the operator to concentrate on the machine task rather than on themechanical function of the drive-train.

The APC100 protects the durability of thetransmission and drive-line by reducing “shift shock”that can occur with manually selected direction changes and gear shifts at high engine speeds. It also prevents overspeeding of transmission internalcomponents when downshifting.APC100 Advantages

Spicer Clark-Hurth’s planetary drive axles have been designedwith innovation, function, and maximum performance levels in mind. Each has different features and specificationsto accommodate your particular application need.

The Spicer Clark-Hurth transfer cases are designed forvehicles using hydrostatic drives. A variety of ratios isavailable in either a one-speed or two-speed version,along with a range of ratios and mountings toaccommodate the various makes and sizes ofhydrostatic motors.
