Throughout the temptations, Jesus remained steadfast in his absolute obedience and surrender to the will of God. As we begin or Lenten journey, cleansing our hearts and souls during these 40 days, may we too remain steadfast in our obedience and surrender to the will of God, and may our eyes be opened to the care of God’s Church through our generous offerings to Care and Share USEFULL MINISTRIES

SAFE ENVIRONMENT CLASS COMING SOON…

St. Ann’s will be having our Safe Environment class for our CCD & Youth Groups on March 3

rd. This class is to help

educate our children on ways to keep themselves safe from all forms of abuse. It is not enough to only educate adults in order to keep all children safe. Anthony Allen, a parishioner of St. Ann’s and the Director of Youth Ministry and catechesis for our Diocese will be a guest catechist over the next few weeks. He will be presenting a class on “CREATED IN GOD’S IMAGE AND LIKENESS” for high school students on February 24 and the 6

th-8

th graders on

March 10th

.

RITUAL OF ATONEMENT SERVICES The Ritual of Atonement, coming within the Season of Lent,

will be an opportunity to express and admit the various ways

by which the faithful have been hurt, not only by each other,

but by those who have held positions of leadership and/or

authority in the Church. While the service will be a non-

sacramental service, it will be an opportunity for healing and

reconciliation. All are welcome.
