Support the Production of our Bulletin For quite some time we have been producing our own bulletin al-lowing us to meet the needs of the three languages. If we were to send this bulletin out to be produced, we would have to have one bulletin in English only for everyone and the publications of the Readings in Italian and Spanish would have to come to an end. Help us by Supporting our advertisers and also by placing an ad in our bulletin for a year. Please call the office for more information.

For the intentions of:
His Holiness Pope Francis
MASS INTENTIONS The Eucharist, (the body and blood of Christ), teaches us the importance of community, the bond that results from this sacrifice. Just as numerous grains of wheat are pounded together to make the host, and many grapes are crushed together to make the wine, so we become unified in this sacrifice. Our Lord chose these elements in order to show us that we ought to be unit-ed with one another and to allow and work with the Holy Spirit as He trans-forms us into Our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is the head and we are the
body. Together we are one. That which unites us is our willingness to sacrifice our time and tal-ents for our fellow members in Christ’s mystical body.
Our Turn is rapidly approaching: Wave 4 The Family of Faith campaign is a historic effort that will raise at least $105 million to support the mission of the Pasto-ral Plan of the Archdiocese of Toronto. Many elements of the pastoral plan require no funding, but some key elements re-quire financial resources. The Family of Faith campaign will help provide those resources. In 2014, some parishes launched
their local campaigns, and in 2015, the remainder of the parishes will follow suit. Pastors will in-vite their parishioners to participate in their campaigns at the appropriate time. Follow the campaign on Twitter: @family_of_faith The Family of Faith campaign is rooted in the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Pastoral Plan. I encourage everyone to take some time and read the pas-toral plan of the Archdiocese to help us understand the significance of what our Cardinal is committed to do and how this plan affects us directly in our parish. Congratulations and Thank you This weekend’s concert has been another success for our parish commu-nity. When we all do our part we not only achieve much, but we also be-long to something more. I wish to thank the band SevenTwenty for shar-ing their love of music and their talent with our parish
and for contributing to the growth of our parish. Thank you to their fam-ilies who worked tirelessly to both prepare and promote the concert, and to those in our community who responded to their invitation and sup-port. A job well done!!!
Farewell to Fr. Bartek: With a bitter-sweet mix of emotions we congratulate Fr. Bartek as he has been appointed pastor of St. Bernard Clairvaux, a neighboring parish. We will have the opportunity to express our gratitude and good wish-es to him on the weekend of June 27 and 28, 2015. We invite
everyone to join us after the 12:30 mass for a formal farewell in which we, as a com-munity, will share a pot-lock lunch in his honour. Bring something for our table to share (finger foods, sweets, cookies, sandwiches, tacos, pierogis, polish doughnuts (pączki), pizza, empana-das, anything to make this a celebration to express affection. If you cannot join us after the
(drop-in between 1:30pm and 3:30pm, we invite you to take time after any of the masses on this weekend to wish Fr. Bartek well. We will have a surprised perfor-mance of music by both Father Efren and Fr. Bartek (playing drums, don’t miss it).
If you wish to participate in some way (a poem, words of farewell, a song, etc.,) please let Fr. Efren know so that you can be included in the program. I hope many of you drop-in. (Fr. Efren)

Pray for Vocations
Receiving Eucharist is a real sign of unity in our Church. God nourishes us with the “Bread from Heaven” if we have ordained priests to cele-brate the Liturgy. If you feel the inclination towards a
Church vocation , call Fr. Chris Lemieux, Vocation Director, Archdio-cese of Toronto 416-968-0997 Or email: [email protected]

In addition, countless others were assisted through outreach programs around the world.” —Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto. Thank You for Your Generosi-ty. Together we can work wonders!

First Communion & Confirmation Pre-registration for 2015
Parents have begun to pre-register their children for the First Communion and Confirmation 2015-2016 programs. For those who pre-registered and are not presently living in the boundaries of our parish, nor attending Sunday Mass at St. Jude’s parish, you will be receiving a call to inform you that you need to seek the assistance of your pastor where you may be presently attending mass or living in its boundaries.
Did your Child make First Communion this year?
This means that you (the child) can be an altar server in our parish. This is a wonderful way for children to be involved in our parish community. If you are interested please follow these steps: Altar servers are trained as they serve. (1) Arrive 20 minutes
before the mass and proceed to the sacristy. (2) Tell a server that you are in training and they will do the rest. (3) The child should be accompanied by a parent the first couple of Sundays when arriving to the Sacristy and help them find the right of altar servers gown and surplice.
Baptism Class and Orientation
During the months of July and August, 2015 Baptism Orien-tation and Baptism Classes will not be avail-able. We ask parents who are planning to request a baptism to keep in mind that once classes and orientations stop during the sum-mer, the process cannot start until September. This does not mean that there are no bap-tisms in July and August, but only those who prepare ahead of time can choose any of these two months as baptism’s dates. Please contact the parish office for more information.

Questions for Reflection:
What kinds of covenants or solemn agreements have you made?
What do we inherit with and in What do your covenants tell about God’s covenant with the Israelites?
What are “dead works”? Are there any such things in your life?
