lives in trees has beaks Is different from a bird because: Is a vegetarian eats leaves does not like to fly

HOATZIN ADAPTATION:

Babies have claws to climb trees to get away from predators.

Lives in Amazon swamps where predators can’t find them.

Mammals can’t fly and although the hoatzin can fly it is very noisy, but the mammals can’t get them.

The Hoatzin has a digestive system like a cow because other birds eat insects but a hoatzin eats leaves.
