T C S Facility
Qualification set by the World Bank to operate TCS facility
Should be in related business (Collection, transport and storage of chemicals) for at least 5years;
Must have the necessary permit, license and/or accreditation specifically for the collection and transport and storage of recovered ODS with concerned government agencies.
Must have an extensive and nationwide network in terms of collection of recovered refrigerants from service shop grantees; and
Must have solid understanding of environmental management with focus on existing environmental policies and protocols.

Objective of the Facility
To Collect, Transport and Store recovered ODS “CFC” Refrigerants from the following sector;
a. Service Shop Voucher Grantees, andb. Chiller Owners under the NCPP Project.
To serve as Pilot sub-project within Metro Manila (NCR).
Why do we need to recover these ODS Refrigerants?
It’s Philippines commitment to Montreal Protocol, during the ratification March 21, 1991, (NCPP).
Also together with our commitment to gradually reduce and eliminate its consumption.

Why is there a need for this project?
Between 2006 and 2007, the DENR-EMB through the Voucher System of NCPP provided Tools and equipment grants to eligible RAC and MAC service shops for ozone-friendly servicing.
