Concert hall acoustics everywhere
IOSONO 3D sound systems by Barco create immersive listening experiences enabling
the artist to precisely control sound localization. For live events, IOSONO 3D sound
systems provide a precise directional localization, reproducing sounds where the
sound designer wants them to appear and allowing for a proper match of acoustic
and visual cues exploiting object-based audio workfl ows. With intuitive hardware
and software tools, the sound designer is given a new creative mean to support the
artistic intent. The IOSONO CORE audio processor offers high quality sound rendering,
fascinating your audience with vivid soundscapes.

Focusing on great sound experiences
Be it for large outdoor concerts or indoor
productions in challenging venues, an
IOSONO 3D sound system is the ideal
solution when sound reinforcement and
complex or dynamic audiovisual actions
takes place. Whether it’s a jazz band
or a symphony orchestra, an IOSONO
system lets the audience focus on the
music, eliminating irritating mismatches
of sound localization and movement on
stage.
IOSONO 3D sound systems haven proven
successful in the past with references
including the Shanghai Symphony
Orchestra, Sydney Opera House and
Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Smooth integration into sound designers’ workfl ows
While sound capturing can be done based on conventional techniques such as close micing, IOSONO provides software tools like the Spatial Audio Workstation for controlling and producing object based content. Multiple live audio feeds can be applied to objects which can then be positioned in space. Objects representing audio sources can either be static or moving and can be combined with positional tracking or light control systems. Real-time rendering of the incoming audio and the audio scene is done with the IOSONO CORE audio processor, according to the speaker setup and venue.
