How does the Double Degree work?

• A total of 32 study units

• All Design units delivered at Prahran campus• All Business units delivered at Lilydale campus

• Most marketing units are also delivered at Prahran• Timetabling is customised to suit individual learners

• Where possible most of your study in any one semester can be completed at one campus

Communication Design• This program equips students with the skills

required to be effective designers and communicators in the following areas:• Publishing and print• Advertising• Packaging• Publicity and promotions• Merchandising• Information design and Wayfinding

Industrial Design• Developing products that are human-centred

and often respond to social need• Learn a variety of representation and

communication techniques including digital modelling and model making

• Explore new materials and manufacturing techniques

• Produces graduates with a focus on a broad range of products, furniture, medical and sporting equipment

Interior Design• Learn how to capitalise on new technologies

and materials in the construction of 3D spaces, surface treatments, materials, lighting, sound, fittings and furniture design

• Utilise state-of-the-art computer labs with industry standard software programs

• Develop a broad range of representation and visualisation skills including manual drafting and freehand drawing

Multimedia Design• The multimedia industry is evolving inline

with rapid technological development• This program equips students with design

skills that extend across a range of media• Design for a variety of outcomes—
