TORM Before DiverBefore implementing Diver, TORM experienced the following issues:

1. Each of the departments within TORM had their own applications and information systems (read excel sheets and local report generators). The Company did not have any focus on matching data from one system to another or using cross departmental information throughout the company.

2. The company consists of close to 100 different legal entities in the ERP system, many of these entities being individual ships. Before Diver TORM had a very difficult time consolidat-ing all of the companies’ financial and operation data.

3. Problems with multiple excel spreadsheets updated at different times by different people. There was no one version of the truth.

TORM After Diver1. A unified system for reporting, analysis, and distribution of information

2. Many unique applications, including:

Voyage Sheet - Tracks how many days ship in voyage, how many days at port, cost of freight, cost of port expenses, schedule, route

Position Report – tracks exact GPS coordinates of all ships in the world and route in-formation, especially important for people in chartering division (if a ship is near a port with a more valuable cargo, they will reroute, unload and reassign ships, in order to maximize revenue)

Accounting and Financial Reporting - lists of all port expenses; commission self vs. partners vs. brokerages; budget vs. ship performance; commercial waiting days (days a ship is waiting in port for scheduled freight to arrive)

Technical Reporting and Management

Reporting of Actual vs. Budget/Estimates on each vessel, pertaining to the technical management. Drill down to scanned documents (url), also through Citrix via Diveport or ProDiver. Used by HQ as well as our site offices at Singapore, Tokyo, Hamburg and Houston.

Pool Cooperative Management – Supports the detailed reporting necessary to support a fleet of vessels owned by many different companies; pool points assigned by age and risk factors of vessels; record of the finances involved with all ships

And Many Others…
