to Tie a Long head tie or Scarf?

There are several ways to tie a long scarf also known as a rectangular scarf or Oblong Scarf. One

can tie them up in the form of knots such as European loop, the fake knot, neck wrap the crown

wrap and ascot knot. It all depends upon your choice.

The scarf is a famous fashion accessory for both men and women. Some carry it as a necessity

while others see it as a fashion statement. A number of scarves can be found in the market,

nowadays designers are also focusing on them according to the new demand of a vital fashion

accessories. Scarves can be found in different colors, design, shapes, prints, material and

fabrics.

The long or rectangular scarf makes a statement with almost any type of clothing. It is entirely

up to you that how to tie the knot of your rectangular scarf to make it look fashionable, trendy

yet distinctive. Now, we will discuss the ways you can tie your long scarf or Sweat absorbing

Ascot Knot

The ascot knot is the most common knot of all. It is easy to learn and looks stylish. For tying an

ascot knot, put your scarf on your shoulders in a way that the ends are hanging in the front of

you and the rest is more or less on your shoulders. Now, hold the end on the right and move it

from the other end of the scarf. When you are done, hold the right end and move this end a

little bit up while passing it from the open area at your neck, making a fine knot. Now, the both

ends of your scarf will be hanging, all you have to do is alter the length on equal sides.

European loop

For a European loop, you will need to fold up the scarf for three times on the length side. You

can even fold over it on width side too. Fold it in a way that it makes a loop on the other side of

the scarf. Now, put the scarf on your neck, in a way that the loop is on the either end of the

shoulders and the ends are the other side of the shoulder. Take the other side of the loop end

while passing it from the other side of the loop of the other end. You can tight the loop

according to your requirement.

Fake knot

For the fake knot, start with the folding of scarf according to its length. Now put your scarf on

your neck while the ends hang equally in the front. Tie a knot on the right side of the scarf and

move the left side to the right side. Now, put it into the knot, tighten it according to your

desire.

Neck wrap

For neck wrap fold over the scarf on length side, put your scarf on the neck while hanging the

ends on each side. Start crossing the ends, repeat it once more and tie a simple knot.

Crown wrap

For a crown wrap, put a scarf without folding it on your head with one side long. Now start

gathering the scarf ends at the nape. After this, start to cross them at the back. Twist the long

end, it will appear like a rope, now place this over your head until it reaches the other end.

Now, tie them together.
