The shot type below is a great camera shot because it shows the sugar intake that he has taken in over the time period of his experiment. This is to used to shock the audience on how much sugar is actually contained within fast food.

The shot type to the right shows a medium close up. This is used in the documentary mainly to do interviews. The interviews are shown to audience about the facts about our health and how fast food would impact our health.

Editing Editing technique used here is to show the different days Morgan Spurlock has obtained his experiment. As you can see in the bottom left corner of the screen shot, you can see the words ‘Day 3’. This would have been edited in for the viewers so they know where he is up to with his quest on how fast food affect the human body.

In the this screen shot we can see text being highlighted. In the actual video, the screen zooms in to the text and highlights keywords and phrases from what Morgan Spurlock is narrating. This is editing that has been added in to add emphasis to the point that Morgan is trying to make.

During Supersize Me, different shots of food have different editing techniques to show what Morgan Spurlock is consuming. The screen shot to the right shows a meal that Morgan Spurlock has bought from McDonalds and the editing he is the way the camera zooms out of the close up of the food. Mise-en-Scene The Mise-en-scene in the documentary is based around Morgan eating his food either in one of McDonald’s Franchises or in the comfort of his car. This is to show what food he is getting and where it is from. He has chose McDonalds because its one of the worlds favourite fast food restaurants and the now the option has been given to them to enlarge their meal by supersizing. The documentary is mainly based in New York but Morgan Spurlock travels out to Texas to find out information about the food industry. While he is there he still carries on with the experiment eating a McDonald’s everyday for every meal.

Sound The sound in the documentary is more based on Morgan Spurlock talking and narrating about the information about the fast food industry. Also in some clips, there is background music for example when he is quoting some letters about food industry. The other sounds that are in the documentary are natural sounds such as the noise coming from a McDonald’s store. This is to show the type of environment you can expect in a McDonald’s Branch.
