Sunday, November 12, 2017 THIRTY SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Once again, we are going to set up the Christmas table and invite our guests on Sunday December 3rd in the afternoon. We know whom to invite but we look for your help to identify other guests we don’t know about. If you know of a lonely person, or someone having some sort of struggles please let us know. We need volunteers to provide transportation. Last year because of the weather some of our guests had problems attending. We need monetary donations. We are asking for volunteers to set up the hall and serve at the event. We will need Santa of course. We hope there will be some funds and goodies left so that we can donate to the family who lost their father in the deadly crash on the highway 400 north of Barrie in the beginning of November. He orphaned 9 children. There is a sign-up list for volunteers out in the alcove. You can contact our office or Kristine Paul at 519-753-1520 and we will be happy to provide more information. Let the Christmas Spirit prevail again.

A Diocesan Healing Mass You are invited to a Healing Mass for Those Mourning the Loss of a Child – Losing a child is a painful and life-altering experience for parents, grandparents and other family members. The feeling of loss, regardless of the amount of time that has passed, is often more profound during the Christmas season. A Diocesan Healing Mass, meant to bring hope to all those trying to cope with such grief, is planned at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King for Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at 4 pm. Any one who has lost a child of any age from any cause, including those that have lost a child prior to birth, or who have had a still birth are invited to this Mass celebrated by Bishop Douglas Crosby

Our Bereavement Mass Tuesday, December 5th at 7:00pm At this time of the year we gather to remember and pray for

loved ones we have lost throughout this year and in the

past. We invite all parishioners to join us to celebrate the

lives of their loved ones and honour their memory. Please

join us for the Holy Mass and refreshments afterwards. This

is an opportunity for our Community to join together in

compassion and care for one another.

------------------------------------------------------------

Advent Activities for Children Let us make our way to Christmas through Advent even more special. We invite children to attend Sunday Mass at 11:00 am for special blessing and homily. 1) We ask you to bring a Christmas Tree ornament for the Holy Mass on December 3. 2) We ask you to bring your favorite toy for the Holy Mass on December 10. 3) We ask you to bring a baby Jesus figurine or your drawing of the manger for the Holy Mass on December 17. Your ornaments, toys and baby Jesus or mangers will be blessed, and you will take them home after Mass. Every Sunday will prepare us for welcoming Jesus at Christmas.
