English Seventh grade

This week in the 7th grade, we’ll be continuing our writing workshops as we evalu-

ate the impact of social media in our own lives in a reflective essay- all while mastering the

use of capitalization and sentence structure to become writers of excellence!

There’s never a dull moment in English 7, as we expand our vocabulary and deepen

our understanding of plot structure in the story of “The Treasure of Lemon Brown.” We’ll al-

so be shaking our turkey feathers as we explore the use of figurative language and deter-

mine the author’s purpose in using literary elements to enhance the story.

Congratulations to Mrs. Taylor’s 7th grade

The Churchland Middle School English Department would like to wish everyone a very

Happy Holiday and a safe and prosperous New Year!

Guidelines for Students in After-School Activities and Events

We encourage all of our Truckers to participate actively in all of our clubs, teams, and events at the

school. Our after school activities and events help us extend students' learning and help our students

practice leadership skills and develop life-long character skills.

As a reminder, the PPS Code of Conduct applies during all after-school events, including clubs, ac-

tivities, and athletic games and matches. In addition, students must meet grade requirements to partici-

pate in after-school activities and teams.

For students attending games, please remember that students must be picked up from the event

within 15 minutes of the end of the game. Students who are on campus after 15 minutes will be prevented

from attending any future games. We have implemented this rule to ensure student safety.
