Young Women's Camp and Retreat

The Church's history is filled with amazing women that were consecrated religious sisters. Through prayer, service and life lived in community these women brought Christ to those they met and changed the world. If you've ever been interested in learning about religious life or talking to religious sisters about religious life, consider attending St. Therese.

St. Therese Camp and Retreat is for young women interested in learning, exploring and praying about the great vocations to which the Lord calls you. Young women entering 7th grade through college age are invited to attend. There will be separate discussion groups for young women 18 years of age and older.

We are blessed to have a number of religious communities present for the entire camp and retreat. If you are interested in which communities will be facilitating the retreat, please visit rockforddiocese.org/vocations for a complete list.

First CallJuly 23-26, 2017

Young Men's Retreat

A priest stands in persona Christi, in the person of Christ, for all of the Church to see and follow. Dying to self and shining the light of Christ in such a radical way is indeed a supernatural call. Young men interested in exploring this call should consider attending First Call.

First Call is a retreat to dive into the richness of the priestly vocation and religous life. Young men entering 10th grade through college age are invited to attend. There will be separate discussion groups for young men 18 years of age and older.

All camps and retreats begin with check in at 6:00 PM on Sunday followed by an opening Mass for particpants and their families at 7:00 PM. Camps and retreats conclude at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.

Young Men's Camp

Growing up can push and pull us in so many directions. Staying close to the Lord and seeking to know his plan is a great way to stay on track to be the best person we are able.

Jeremiah Days Camp is for young men interested in exploring whatever vocation the Lord has in store for them. Young men entering 7th grade through high school freshmen are invited to attend.

First Call retreat and Jeremiah Days camp are sponsored by the Diocese of Rockford Office of Vocations and will be facilitated by Fr. Keith Romke, Diocesan Director of Vocations. Other priests, Diocese of Rockford seminarians and religious brothers will also help facilitate discussions, prayer, games and exploration of priestly and religious vocations.
