ABOUT BHOPAL

The city of Bhopal has witnessed many changes since it was found by the Afghan soldier Dost Mohammed in the year 1708.

Bhopal has been a city in which one finds traces of cultures as different as those of Buddhists, Hindus, Mugals and Afghans,

which in spite of being modern upholds the patrician mark of its bygone rulers. The city provides a fascinating blend of scenic

beauty with its lakes, parks, temples, mosques, gardens, museums, statues and buildings. Bhopal is well connected by train

and air links with the other part of the country.

From time immemorial India, originally Bharat has been

the world teacher, the spiritual teacher-the vishwa guru.

Literary meaning of Bharat; Bha-means light and rata-

means absorbed- a country where people have opportunity

and privileged to be absorbed into the light of truth. Bharat

means the land of yoga, philosophy, meditation and self

purification in addition to relative sciences and arts. From

the beginning of human civilization history there were

many golden eras in India, where India extended message

of love, peace, harmony, sublimity, truth and self

realization. India has helped the whole world to attain

peaceful existence.

The first law maker lord Manu writes of his country several

hundred centuries BC " The vishwa guru Bharat-people

from all over the world come here to educate themselves in

economics, science, arts, mathematics, psychology,

philosophy, culture and civilization”. Unfortunately India

has seen a sharp decline in values from previous many

centuries because Indians are Indians only in colour & flesh

and not in spirit. There is a strong urge to revive Indian

heritage as “the land of spiritual fruits” once again. By the

advent of many remarkable agents of peace and harmony,

who proved to be the shining stars of modern India, such as,

Shri Raman Maharishi, Shri Aurobindo, Shri Vivekanand,

Shri Paramhans Yoganand, Mahatma Gandhi, there are still

some seeds of spirituality seen in modern times which can

be utilized as a spectrum of opportunities to bring back

India on top.

This conference is an attempt to reviving, rejuvenating,

retrieving the historical greatness, eloquence, sublimity

and value system of India. It renders a platform for mind

sharing, discussing and deriving out concrete viewpoints to

be implemented along with spreading awareness among

policy makers, teachers and young minds-the students,

being the change agent can bring upon remarkable

revolution in next generation leadership. It offers a track of

quality research updates and articles from key experts and

provides an opportunity in bringing in the new techniques

and horizons that will contribute to strengthen India as the

vishwa guru in next few years by fusing power and people

to make it happen make it matter.
