This newssheet, sent out by mail to a list of up to 3,000 people, served a dual purpose: as an update on exhibitions, events and programs in the gallery, and also as a "reader" of sorts, offering critical contextualizations to the exhibitions on display in the gallery.

‘’...na DAZwebu je radila velika grupa ljudi, ja sam se tek uključila prije 11 mjeseci, web ima silne ambicije koje su još u povojima. statistiku nažalost ne vodim, ne znam previše - osim da smo 6.12. dotakli 2000 posjetitelja u 1 danu! Fani je u DAZu na stud. ugovoru, 8 radnih sati, ili više, i otkako radi od 10. mjeseca hitro stavljamo vijesti. prije se tim poslom bavila Tamara Brixy, na pola radnog vremena. Dominko i ja smo na simboličnim mjesečnim honorarirama, a Luka, kao član IO volontira - u principu, web ipak funkcionira na entuzijazmu, iako DAZ troši određena sredstva (o tehničkoj podršci da ni ne pričam...)’’

CABINET: WHAT IS IT? Founded as a non-profit in 2000, Cabinet is an award-winning quarterly magazine of art and culture based in New York that confounds expectations of what is typically meant by the words “art,” “culture,” and sometimes even “magazine.” Its hybrid sensibility merges the popular appeal of an arts periodical, the visually engaging style of a design magazine, and the in-depth exploration of a scholarly journal to create a sourcebook of ideas for an eclectic international audience of readers, from artists and designers to scientists, philosophers, and historians. Using essays, interviews, and artist projects to present a wide range of topics in language accessible to the non-specialist, Cabinetis designed to encourage a new culture of curiosity, one that forms the basis both for an ethical engagement with the world as it is and for imagining how it might be otherwise. In an age of increasing specialization, Cabinet looks to previous traditions of the well-rounded thinker to forge a new type of magazine designed for the intellectually curious reader of the future.

''Curiosity is a new vice that has been stigmatized in turn by Christianity, by philosophy, and even by a certain conception of science. Curiosity, futility. The word, however, pleases me. To me it suggests something altogether different: it evokes "concern"; it evokes the care one takes for what exists and could exist; a readiness to find strange and singular what surrounds us; a certain relentlessness to break up our familiarities and to regard otherwise the same things; a fervor to grasp what is happening and what passes; a casualness in regard to the traditional hierarchies of the important and the essential. I dream of a new age of curiosity. We have the technical means for it; the desire is there; the things to be known are infinite; the people who can employ themselves at this task exist. Why do we suffer? From too little: from channels that are too narrow, skimpy, quasi-monopolistic, insufficient. There is no point in adopting a protectionist attitude, to prevent "bad" information from invading and suffocating the "good." Rather, we must multiply the paths and the possibilities of coming and goings.’’
