Studio HBA is a young, growing, dynamic brand within the HBA group.With an expansive portfolio encompassing: Hospitality, Residential, Food and Beverage, Wellness and Workplace; Studio offers the same levels of innovation, creativity and professionalism associated with HBA across a broad spectrum of design disciplines and with a keenly focused local context.
With eight offices around the world and a team of over 280 people we have already had a major impact on the international interior design market by establishing a rapidly expanding range of projects with some of the world’s most illustrious clients.
We are currently engaged in over 200 projects stretching from the West Coast of America to the prosperous and expanding cities of The Middle East, India, China, Indonesia and Myanmar amongst many others.

DESIGN PROCEDURE
PHASE 1: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Through a process of consultation with the Client, architect, and other consultants, STUDIO HBA shall assist in establishing the program scope and interior design requirements.
Upon receipt of the Architects master planning and schematic Architecture, STUDIO HBA shall prepare for presentation conceptual schematics inclusive of furniture, fixture & equipment plans, and mood style images from other projects, which will assist to determine the design direction moving forwards

PHASE 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Upon approval of conceptual design, STUDIO HBA shall prepare design development drawings. These drawings will describe design intent sufficiently to allow for preliminary pricing and coordination with the other consultants.
STUDIO HBA shall present color computer rendered perspectives along with key elevations and color boards in order to convey the interior design to the client for final approval.
STUDIO HBA shall collaborate with the appointed lighting designer to bring reflected ceiling plans and fixture layouts to completion.

PHASE 3: DOCUMENTATION
Upon approval of the design development as described above, STUDIO HBA shall prepare all design documentation required for the purpose of tender.
STUDIO HBA shall arrange a schedule and a corresponding notebook of all color finishes as well as preparing material specifications of specialty items and finishes for architect’s project manual.
These documents and specifications shall convey the entire interior design intent and are to be incorporated into the architect’s documents for purpose of both tendering and construction.
STUDIO HBA shall choose and/or design all carpeting, fabrics, decorative accessories, furnishings and fixtures, including decorative lamps and decorative lighting, etc. Furnishings that are specially designed shall be detailed completely.
STUDIO HBA shall assist in the selection and coordinate finishes for kitchen, and wardrobes, Sanitary wear fixtures and fittings, Ironmongery and socket / switching plates.

PHASE 4: CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION
STUDIO shall conduct periodic visits to the project site not more than 8 hrs. Per person visit in order to determine if work is being performed according to contract documents. STUDIO will appraise Client as to the progress and quality of the work observed during these visits.
STUDIO shall not be responsible for discovering defects in the work or materials not observable by visual inspection.
STUDIO shall review the final placement of furnishings and the finishes for all public areas within the interior design services scope as well as one suite and one guestroom of each configuration so as to asses that furniture, fixture & equipment are installed in accordance with contract documents.
Contractor’s submittals (shop drawings, product data, etc.) relating to items within the interior design services scope shall be reviewed to assess compatibility with design intent.
STUDIO shall provide a furniture, fixture & equipment and interior finish punch list to the Owner and/or Operator.
